આવાસ અને શહેરી બાબતોનું મંત્રાલય "2022 સુધીમાં બધા માટે આવાસ" ના મોટા ધ્યેય સાથે દેશના શહેરી વિસ્તારોમાં આવાસની અછતને પહોંચી વળવા અને અસરકારક અમલીકરણ સુનિશ્ચિત કરવા માટે પ્રધાનમંત્રી આવાસ યોજના (શહેરી) PMAY (U) લાગુ કરી રહ્યું છે. PMAY (U) મિશન, મંત્રાલય નિયમિતપણે વિવિધ મંચો પર કાર્યક્રમોના મુખ્ય સૂચકાંકોનું નિરીક્ષણ કરે છે.
મોબાઇલ એપ્લિકેશનનો ઉદ્દેશ્ય PMAY (શહેરી) ના લાભાર્થીઓને મિશનના તમામ ઘટકોમાંથી આની મંજૂરી આપશે:-
1.To capture and upload 02 high resolution photographs (atleast 300 dpi) of completed houses along with beneficiary’s family.

The higher the coefficient of deprivation, the higher the priority of the family.
In Gram Panchayats, the list with the priority given by the Central Government has to be circulated
A separate list should be prepared by identifying the minority families from the list of others. In which the priority as per the original list has to be maintained.
The Gram Sabha will have to check the list by category.If the following facts appear, the family name will have to be removed from the list.
