Hero MotoCorp, India's largest two-wheeler company, has postponed the launch of its first electric scooter. The company had earlier planned to launch the e-scooter in March. But now its launch has been extended to July. The company has been working on this e-scooter for a long time. The company's CFO Niranjan Gupta said that its first electric two-wheeler will be released in March 2022.

Hero MotoCorp and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) have teamed up to build charging infrastructure for electric two-wheelers across the country. According to Hero's collaboration with Bharat Petroleum, the two companies will set up charging stations in nine cities starting from Delhi and Bengaluru in the first phase. According to the CFO, apart from electric products, Hero MotoCorp is also working on launching more and more products in the premium portfolio. Which will boost the market share of two-wheeler manufacturers in the segment. Regarding the company's strategy, Gupta said Hero MotoCorp would continue its investment in Aether Energy and Gogoro, two companies where it has made good investments in the past.
